National Catholic Colleges Week
Church Participation

We are grateful for our partners in the churches in helping us serve the families in our community! Below are two suggested activities:

For the church bulletin or youth ministry newsletter:
February 22-28, 2009, is National Catholic Colleges Week. We encourage students and their parents to consider continuing their education at a Catholic college or university. Go to www.catholiccollegesonline.org to search for and read information about Catholic colleges and universities. The online search feature allows you to perform advanced searches of Catholic colleges based on your specific criteria. You also have the opportunity to purchase the new Official Catholic College and University Guidebook, featuring beautiful full-color photos. Recent studies show that Catholic students who attend Catholic colleges are far more likely to embrace a system of values in adulthood, participate in the Church, and find overall satisfaction compared to those who attend large flagship institutions. For more information, please call 614-633-5444.

Petitions for church liturgy on February 22, 2009:
As today we celebrate the first day of National Catholic Colleges Week, we pray for continued growth, advancement, and ministry of our Catholic colleges and universities.
