National CCAA Mission Statement
2006 - 2010
The National CCAA is committed to promoting the value of Catholic higher education and serving the student in the transition to college.
- INITIATIVE: Catholic Higher Education Value - The National CCAA will define a commonly understood and accepted statement of the value of Catholic Higher Education.
- Conduct regularly scheduled research on issues in Catholic higher education and establish/utilize vehicles to promote the findings.
- Develop an online resource library to support and advance Catholic higher education.
- INITIATIVE: Stakeholder Outreach - The National CCAA will reach out to stakeholders to strengthen the organization and promote the mission.
- Develop a comprehensive outreach plan to secondary school counselors, particularly those serving in Catholic Schools.
- Develop services and materials to increase the enrollment of college-bound students from Spanish-speaking families (in Catholic higher education).
- National CCAA continues to strengthen and expand relationships with Catholic and/or professional organizations.
- Provide opportunities to promote personal interaction and discovery between and among students, counselors, parents/families and Catholic colleges and universities.
- INITIATIVE: Association Value Proposition - The value of National CCAA will be increased through relevant programs and services.
- Develop a plan for the future of the Guidebook recognizing emerging technologies.
- Development of Communication Statistics: Recognize the importance of data and research, the National CCAA will accumulate links to information on the topics of interest to the membership and the media.
- Develop a plan to enhance and promote the website as a primary resource and communications tool for the National CCAA.
- Communication with Members. Articulate and communicate NCCAA's purpose and benefits to solidify and cultivate membership.
- INITIATIVE: Organizational Integrity - National CCAA's organizational integrity will be increased and maintained through financial stability, leadership, resources, demonstrated by clear accountability and effective marketing.
- Develop outside funding sources to sustain and advance the strategic objectives of the National CCAA.
- The National CCAA will build on its strong brand identity through its logo, printed material, events, and image.
- The National CCAA will maintain an appropriate staff and office location to enable the association to provide a full range of services in support of its mission.
- Adhere to best business practices for the financial viability of the association.
- Ensure the association's viability through effective marketing.
- Recruit, sustain and evaluate the leadership including the board and the national office.
