Catholic College and University Response to Hurricane Katrina

Cardinal Stritch University
Cardinal Stritch University is opening its arms and doors to college and university students displaced by Hurricane Katrina. The University is offering individualized attention to any student who wants to continue his or her education while the South continues to clean up after Katrina's devastation. If students would like to attend Stritch for the fall semester, they will enter into the University as a Visiting Student. Through this Visiting Student Program, students can:
  • Take up to two semesters (up to 18 credits per semester) of courses
  • Start taking classes without having to submit transcripts or other documents normally necessary for admission, until they become available
  • Defer tuition if they have paid tuition elsewhere
  • Pay the tuition they would pay at their own university
  • Coordinate an individualized education plan with the University to meet their specific academic need.
