- Our campus features a Center for Microplasma Science and Technology - A designated National Center for Excellence, the Center is the nation's first and only scientific and educational center devoted entirely to the emerging field of microplasma research in the U.S.
- Saint Peter's awarded Dr. Martin Luther King an honorary degree of Doctor of Laws and Letters of September 21, 1965 on campus where he spoke to more than 500 people during our annual Michaelmas Convocation.
- In 2011, Saint Peter's entered into a partnership with ENER-G Group Inc., a global leader in sustainability, to build a Green Energy Command Center on campus. The Center monitors the impact of green energy initiatives on campus 24 hours a day by tracking the amount and type of energy being used on campus, the total amount of energy savings, and data on the carbon saving benefits.
