Texas Recruitment Program
Catholics make up the largest religious group in Texas, and Texas boasts a growing population, especially of young people, making this state an excellent recruitment location for Catholic colleges and universities.
About the Tour
The National CCAA has led recruitment tours to Texas since 2014. Each year, the tour has included visits to local, Catholic high schools; a public college fair; stops in some of the biggest cities in Texas; and more.

What past participants are saying
"A first-class recruitment tour!"
– Joe Campion, Duquesne University (PA)
"The Texas recruitment tour is by far one of my favorite trips during fall travel. I am able to network with high school counselors and meet with students, but also get to know awesome admissions representatives from all over the country. Having the opportunity to co-coordinate this program has been incredible and rewarding. I’m so thankful for my National CCAA family."
– Maira Rodriguez, Marquette University (WI)
"This tour has undoubtedly helped to increase our institutional awareness in a tertiary market. After coordinating and attending the tour for the last five years, we’ve not only seen inquiry and application increases, but more importantly, our relationships with high school counselors and students has also increased, bringing greater recognition of our small New England institution to the students who might find us to be a right fit. We’ve found this trip to be greatly impactful to our overall success and growth in Texas!" "
– Rita Winthrop, Salve Regina University (RI)
