2019 Puerto Rico Program

SEPTEMBER 9 TO 13, 2019

Join us for our 11th Annual Catholic Colleges Puerto Rico Recruitment Program! This is a wonderful opportunity for our member schools to meet students, families, and counselors as a collective group of Catholic colleges and universities.


This year's program coordinators, Zuleyka Rios (Marquette University, WI) and Jose Ramos (St. John Fisher College, NY) are coordinating high school visits in the San Juan area. The visit schedule is being confirmed over the summer and will be posted here shortly. The visit schedule is subject to change. We will once again host a college fair, counselor dinner, and bilingual financial aid program during one evening of the week, and will also have hotel space available for college representatives to conduct interviews (informational or evaluative) with prospective students and their parents.

*Please note: Participation in each and every high school visit in Puerto Rico, the counselor dinner, and college fair is required of each admission representative. The promotion material sent to students, parents and counselors indicates that each participating college/university will be represented at every aspect of the program in Puerto Rico.


The fee for participating is $700 (airfare, hotel, and meals are not included) and includes:

  • Promoting the program to all high school counselors in Puerto Rico

  • Promoting the public college fair and bilingual financial aid program through local media, which is widely used by parents and students

  • Bus transportation to high school visits in Puerto Rico

  • Event costs at the AC Hotel for the counselor reception and interview space and the high school (TBD) hosting the public college fair and bilingual financial aid program.

  • We have arranged for special hotel rates at the AC Hotel. Click here to make your reservation at the special rate of $139. The deadline to make hotel reservations at the special hotel rate is July 31, 2019.

The extended tour registration deadline is August 15, 2019. To register, please follow the simple directions below to conplete the registration form. Don’t wait to register, as spaces are limited!


  1. Please make sure to complete all requested fields on the form.

  2. If any required fields are missing and you submit the form, a red notification will appear on top of the screen, prompting you to complete the form once again.

  3. After you click "Submit Registration," you will be redirected to the next page, which will ask you to enter your credit card for payment.  If you prefer to pay by  credit card, enter in your credit card information here. If you prefer to pay by check (to The National CCAA), do not complete the second page and simply  click "Submit Registration" on the first page.  An invoice will be emailed to you in 7-10 business days. 
  4. Institutions participating in a National CCAA recruitment program must be a current National CCAA member institution. The national office will follow up with  institutions who have not submitted a 2019-20 membership form but have submitted a recruitment program registration form.
