Annika, a 2024 graduate of Kentwood High School in Covington, Washington, will attend Saint Martin's University. She shared that she chose to enroll at Saint Martin's because "I love the campus and the community at Saint Martin’s. Everyone is very positive and willing to offer help in any way they can!"

At Saint Martin's University, Annika will major in English or Political Science. When asked about her future plans, she shared, "I plan to become a journalist focusing on uplifting the voices of people within marginalized communities."

Why did you choose to attend a Catholic college/university?
I chose to attend Saint Martin’s because of the people, alongside their core values. Everyone has been incredibly welcoming and helped to create a safe space where I feel I can succeed.

What aspect of your college/university are you most excited about?
I’m most excited to play soccer for Saint Martin’s!
 
What one tip about the college application process would you share with seniors or their parents?
Find the school that’s the best fit for YOU, not anyone else. It’s your journey. Do what makes you happy.

What is one fun fact about you?
I was voted most inspirational for my high school soccer team.
