Then recently when I was choosing where I was going to apply to, I took a tour and fell in love with the campus and resources."
Anneliese previously attended Skyline College and at University of San Francisco, she will pursue a Biology major in hopes of attending veterinary school or USF's Masters program for Biotech after graduation.
We asked Anneliese:
Why did you choose to attend a Catholic college/university?
I love the values that the university has. I love that is focuses on a great education for all.
What aspect of your college/university are you most excited about?
I am most excited to get to know the faculty in my major and see what research opportunities are available for me. I am also super excited to experience the culture and community of San Francisco.
What one tip about the transfer process would you share with future transfer students?
One tip I'd give it to always be in contact with your college counselor. The best thing you can do is build a strong bond with your counselor so you can keep on top of transfer requirements.
What advice would you share with students who are considering transferring?
Its a difficult path when you see all your classmate going straight to their university choice. However in my experience, transferring allowed me to take different classes, volunteer more, and join different hobbies. So my advice is to focus on your own path and don't worry if its different that the paths around you.
What is one fun fact about you?
One fun fact about me is that I was in a Lego ad as a teen.
