Major: Nursing
A 2025 National CCAA Transfer Scholarship recipient, Mallory will attend University of Detroit Mercy. She shared that many factors went into her decision to enroll. "University of Detroit Mercy has a great reputation in the healthcare community. As someone continuing their nursing education, this was important to me. The community college I earned my Associate's Degree in Nursing at has a positive relationship with UDM, and this made transferring very simple as well."

Mallory previously attended Oakland Community College and at University of Detroit Mercy, she will pursue a Nursing major. When asked about her future plans, she shared, "I recently became a Registered Nurse and started working on a Labor and Delivery Unit, which has always been a dream of mine. My plan is to continue to grow, learn, and work in the Women's Health space. I want to make an impact on the moms and babies I work with, specifically in the area of bereaved mothers. Finishing my Bachelor's Degree in Nursing will allow me to teach other future nurses, which is also a goal of mine as well."

We asked Mallory:

What aspect of your college/university are you most excited about?
I'm just really excited to continue to learn and gain more knowledge to grow as a nurse. I know UDM has a great nursing program, so I look forward to learning there.
