A 2025 graduate of Lebanon High School, Meghanne will attend Salve Regina University. She shared that many factors played a part in her decision to enroll. "Salve Regina University is right on the Ocean and I feel the best when I’m surrounded by nature. It’s in Newport, RI which is the best little college town and I can’t wait to explore it. I felt instantly connected to the staff and students when I visited, and I've only heard good things about their programs! Also- there were hammocks on the lawn, which is a huge draw for me!"
As a student at Salve Regina, Meghanne plans to major in Business and Spanish. When asked about her future plans, she shared "I’m not sure exactly, but I do know that I want to do something that helps others. Knowing a second language will help me to connect with more people in this world and share God's love with them!"
We asked Meghanne:
Why did you choose to attend a Catholic college/university?
I love the community that comes with being surrounded by those who share your faith. I believe that at Salve I will best be supported by staff and the other students because of the the community that is built around our love for God and subsequent love for each other.
What aspect of your college/university are you most excited about?
I’m excited to meet new people and build long-lasting relationships.
What one tip about the college application process would you share with seniors or their parents?
When choosing the schools you want to apply to, ask students there what their favorite/least favorite parts are. If those line up with your opinions, then you know if the school would be a good fit. Also, apply to EVERY scholarship you qualify for.
What is one fun fact about you?
I am a camp counselor at a summer camp in the mountains of Vermont. I LOVE campfires!
