We asked Vicky:

Why did you choose to attend a Catholic college/university?
Having studied at a Catholic high school for the past three years, I’ve found that even though I don’t share the same religion, the community has always been welcoming and made me feel included.

What aspect of your college/university are you most excited about?
I'm most excited about meeting new people, experiencing a completely different environment, and discovering some cute cafes around New York.

What advice would you share with with soon-to-be high school seniors as they begin their senior year in the fall?
One key thing I’ve learned during the college application process is the importance of starting early and using the summer wisely. I began drafting many of my essay ideas during the summer before senior year, which helped me feel more prepared. At the same time, I’d recommend not putting too much pressure on yourself—it’s important to take care of your mental well-being throughout the process.

What is one fun fact about you?
One fun fact about me is I love traveling. I have been to around 15 countries.
