The university offers exceptional resources and truly invests in helping students pursue their passions. I also got a near-full ride!"
At University of the Incarnate Word, Christine Joy will major in Nursing. When asked about her future plans, she shared, "after gaining a few years of hands-on nursing experience, I intend to go back to school for a master’s degree in either Occupational Therapy or Health Administration. My main goal is to work in rehabilitation to help individuals regain their autonomy so they can confidently return back to their daily routines."

Why did you choose to attend a Catholic college/university?
Attending a Catholic university was crucial for me because I wanted to strengthen my relationship with God and grow in my faith alongside like-minded people near me.
What aspect of your college/university are you most excited about?
I'm really looking forward to meeting people from all walks of life.
What was your favorite class in high school?
My favorite class in high school would probably be ceramics. I really enjoyed sculpting faces. I wasn't very good at it but it was still enjoyable.
What advice would you share with soon-to-be high school seniors as they begin their senior year?
Be open to every opportunity and person you meet. Join those clubs, make connections, and try out things outside of your comfort zone because you never know what you might end up enjoying.
