A 2026 graduate of Gorham High School, Gracen will attend Saint Anselm College. Gracen shared that she decided to enroll at Saint Anselm "because of their long history of service and the positivity they lead with on campus. I also believe that I will receive a well rounded education here because of their liberal arts foundation. Their nursing program has a long history and makes me confident I will succeed in this field."
At Saint Anselm, Gracen will major in Nursing. When asked about her future plans, she shared "I plan to become a pediatric nurse. I want to advocate and serve children and their parents in their times of need. I hope to travel to places I haven't been (mainly Austria and Greece!). I hope to continue making the world a better place and spreading positivity in daily life."

Why did you choose to attend a Catholic college/university?
I chose a Catholic college because I wanted to be surrounded by people who also lead a life of compassion and serve the community and world. I believe that by attending a Catholic college I am strengthening my passion for service and curiosity.
What aspect of your college/university are you most excited about?
I am especially excited to connect with new people and make many friendships in my time on campus. I am also excited to build meaningful relationships in the community through volunteering and the nursing association.
What are your hobbies?
In my free time I like to craft, read, volunteer, watch old movies, and thrift.
What one tip about the college application process would you share with seniors or their parents?
Fill out lots of scholarships as you apply to schools throughout all of senior year. I would not have been able to fill out or be selected for as many if I had waited.
