A 2026 graduate of The High School of Saint Thomas More, Henry will attend Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota. He says he ultimately chose Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota because it will allow him to "enter the Immaculate Heart of Mary Seminary as a seminarian."
At Saint Mary's University of Minnesota, Henry will major in Philosophy. He shared that his future plans are "to follow God’s calling for my life, because I know that I will be the happiest, holiest, and most generous in the vocation I am called to pursue."
We asked Henry:
Why did you chose to attend a Catholic college/university?
To discover and pursue my vocation from God, whether that be diocesan priesthood, holy matrimony, or generous single life.
What aspect of your college/university are you most excited about?
I am excited to grow in Catholic formation and fraternity with my seminarian brothers through prayer such as daily Mass, the Divine Office, and spiritual direction, and through recreation such as running, hiking, and basketball.
What one tip about the college application process would you share with soon-to-be high school seniors and/or their parents?
Start writing your application essay(s) ahead of time. You will be surprised how quickly the deadlines catch up.
What is one fun fact about you?
I have a fraternal twin brother named Wil who is like a best friend to me.
