A 2026 National CCAA Transfer Scholarship recipient, David will attend University of St. Thomas (TX). He shared that many factors went into his decision to enroll including academics and the campus' location being closer to home.
David previously attended Arlington Baptist University and at University of St. Thomas, he will pursue a Health Sciences major with plans to become a physical therapist.

Why did you choose to attend a Catholic college/university?
I want to be closer with God and I want religion to be a part of my life.
What aspect of your college/university are you most excited about?
The new learning environment and also the people that come with it.
What advice would you share with students who are considering transferring?
Make sure that whatever school you want to go to or transfer to is the right fit for you.
What is one fun fact about you?
I have played baseball for 15 years of my life.
