Founded in 1887, we are a Global Research university in Washington, DC. Largest campus out of all the DC schools, with a metro stop at your doorstep which takes you anywhere in the city, even to the airport! Small to medium size, we have around 6,000 students of which 3,300 are undergraduates. 8 % of our students are international. Being in the Capital of the US gives you great opportunities for internships, world class museums or even to attend professional sports games. Nine Undergraduate Schools: Arts & Sciences, Business, Architecture, Engineering, Music & Drama & Art, Nursing, Social Service, Philosophy and Theology & Religious Studies. We also offer Minors, Interdisciplinary Minors, Certificate Programs, Pre Professional studies and an Honors Program. Our classes are small, so professors get to know you by name.
