Membership
Your membership in the National CCAA is an investment in the successful future of Catholic higher education and in your continued success as an institution that offers the advantages of this education to students.
Admission offices of Catholic colleges and universities are eligible for membership in the National CCAA. The 2022-23 membership cycle runs from September 1, 2022 to August 31, 2023. We encourage schools to submit their membership forms and payment by September 15, 2022 in order to take advantage of all the membership benefits during the 2022-23 cycle.
If you are from a Catholic college or university, you should have received an email regarding 2022-23 membership in August 2022. If you did not receive our email, or are interested applying for or renewing your National CCAA membership, please email Joyce Masek, Executive Director.

Benefits of Membership
Membership in the National CCAA can substantially benefit your institution:
An increased online presence
Students and parents regularly visit the National CCAA website as a first stop for researching Catholic higher education, searching for members, and requesting information. Your presence on the site keeps your institution visible in students’ searches for Catholic universities and colleges. Requests for information about your institution through the National CCAA website are shared with you to include in your inquiry pool. We launched our redesigned website in late 2019 and saw a 48% increase in visitors over the previous year.

Participation in virtual recruitment programs
Virtual college fairs featuring only National CCAA member institutions were offered in fall 2020 and spring 2021 and will again be offered to National CCAA members during fall 2021. Registration for these fairs is required. All participating schools can invite their prospective students to participate. During the fairs, we will also offer presentations about college admission topics, such as financial aid and the values of Catholic higher education, and will be seeking presenters from our membership base. We may offer additional college fairs focusing on more specific areas, such as transfer students, international students or domestic regions.
Data and real-time information sharing
We understand the importance of connecting with other National CCAA members and institutions. To facilitate this connection throughout the academic year, we will again offer voluntary data and real-time information sharing between our members, along with regular virtual communication outlets. These virtual connections will allow National CCAA members to network with each other and stay informed of trends happening during the admission cycle.
*A note to our members: we launched our National CCAA member data share on September 24, 2020. If your institution is interested in participating, or you would like more information about the data share, please contact National CCAA Treasurer, Eric Nichols (Loyola University Maryland).
Access to top research in the field
The National CCAA partners with many organizations to provide you with essential research specific to Catholic higher education. This oftentimes includes special presentations at our annual membership meeting where nationally recognized presenters share findings and strategies that can help guide your enrollment decisions.

Access to scholarships for your students
The National CCAA Scholarship is a one-time, $1,000 scholarship offered annually to college-bound high school seniors and transfer students from two-year/community colleges who matriculate to one of our National CCAA member institutions in the fall. In 2021, we received over 3,900 applications for the National CCAA Scholarship. For fall 2021, 16 students from around the world were awarded scholarships and will be attending one of our member institutions.

Regular outreach to secondary and independent counselors
We currently have over 6,000 counselors from all over the world in our database and will continue to help promote Catholic higher education and our member institutions through virtual Counselor Town Hall sessions and counselor newsletters. We plan to extend Counselor Town Hall invitations and send newsletters to all of the counselors in our ever-growing database. National CCAA members will have the opportunity to participate in both Town Hall sessions and newsletters, which is a great way to connect with counselors, engage in professional development, and promote your institution.

Partnerships that benefit members
The National CCAA collaborates with organizations that support our mission to be leaders in promoting Catholic higher education. We are an affiliate member of the Association of Catholic Colleges and Universities (ACCU), sharing our expertise with college presidents through ACCU. We also partner with the Higher Education Consultants Association (HECA), a professional organization focused exclusively on the practice of independent college admissions, consulting with members who expertly work to guide students through the transition from high school to college. Other partners include the National Catholic Educational Association (NCEA), the National Hispanic Institute (NHI), and the Independent Educational Consultants Association (ICEA).

"Being a member of the National CCAA allows us to be part of a greater good. Our membership allows us to network and collaborate with peer Catholic institutions and demonstrates our commitment to the values and foundations of Catholic Education."
– Marguerite Lane, Assistant Vice President for Enrollment Management, Molloy College (NY)
