Unique Academic Programs	We have several unique grad programs that are offered. We have accelerated programs where students can earn their bachelors and their masters within 4-5 years as compared to the average 6-7 years. We offer that in Speech and Language Path, Data Science, and Autism Studies at SMC. We have recently partnered with the University of Notre Dame's business college of Mendoza to add more Master's programs, such as a Masters in Accounting (4.5 years), Nonprofit Administration, Science Management, and Finance. In general, Nursing, Speech and Lang Path, Education, Social Work, Sociology, etc get a lot of field experience during their time here.

Interesting Facts:

• Class sizes range from 16-22 students, so you will be getting to know your professors and peers very personally. Professors prioritize creating meaningful relationships with their students. They often encourage students to get out of their comfort zones and help them see their talents/strengths. All professors will give you their personal phone number in their syllabus for you to call or text if you ever had any questions about class, but also if you needed someone to talk to, you have access to them in that way. They can easily become a part of your support system and it really does feel like having a parent on campus with you. 
• Although we are an empowering tight knit community. We are connected with the University of Notre Dame and Holy Cross College. We have access to taking classes at these two places at no additional cost. We also can join over 510 clubs within our tri campus. You are essentially getting the best of both worlds here!
• All students will be exposed to conducting research during their time here. It is a part of our curriculum that you do research in whatever you're interested in within your field of study during your senior year. You can even assist professors with research if you are interested in doing it before your senior year. It is not uncommon for our students to attend conferences with professors, win competitions for their research, or get work published!
