About the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John's University:
Together, the College of Saint Benedict (CSB) and Saint John’s University (SJU) form a unique partnership of two of the leading liberal arts institutions in the United States. With an undergraduate enrollment of 3,300 students, CSB/SJU combine the opportunities of large, research universities with the faculty attention, engaging classrooms and academic challenges of smaller, selective schools.
Nearly all students live on campus in order to experience our excellent residential life programming, facilities, activities and community—thereby creating a lifelong network of friendships, connections and opportunities. Women live at CSB and men live at SJU The campuses are located about nine kilometers apart and are connected by a free, convenient and frequent shuttle bus service.
Enriched by a Catholic and Benedictine tradition, CSB/SJU share the two campuses and one combined academic curriculum—students from both campuses attend classes together and use the academic facilities, dining halls, fine arts facilities, worship spaces, libraries and athletic centers on both campuses.
CSB/SJU attract students from around the world who are seeking an excellent education, and attract globally-minded U.S. students who welcome the opportunity to form friendships with students from other countries. Our graduates are prepared to work and live in a global society.
