Latin America Recruitment Program
Latin America presents excellent recruitment opportunities for Catholic universities and colleges. Latin America and the Caribbean are home to the majority of the world’s Catholic population: 39% of Catholics are found in this region of the world. Many Latin American students and families recognize the importance of an international educational experience, with many students seeking to improve their English language skills.
About the Tour
The National CCAA has led the recruitment tour to Latin America since 2009. The smaller size of the tour (15 institutions on average each year) offers the opportunity for meaningful interaction with students, parents and counselors in as many as seven countries in just over two weeks. Tour participants participate in counselor breakfasts and visit carefully selected high schools, meeting with students who are interested in Catholic higher education and in attending college in the U.S. After a four year hiatus, we are excited to bring back the Latin America tour in 2025!

All college representatives participating in the Latin America Recruitment Program must attend every National CCAA- sponsored visit during the tour. The program is promoted with the understanding that all participating schools will be at each event.
Cost
$800 deposit fee and $11,950 (15+ participants) or $12,500 (10-15 participants) tour fee
Program cost includes coordination of the tour schedule for the week; 14 hotel nights; 5 inner-city flights; airport transfers; ground transportation; orientation session, welcome and closing dinners; 1 counselor social; KICUnivAssist tour manager accompanying the group for the trip. Airfaire to and from the beginning and end countries and most meals are not included in the cost of the tour.
Tour Team
The tour will be led by Anne Faucett, Director of International Admission at St. Mary's University (San Antonio, TX), and Rocio Lopez, Assistant Director of Admissions at Loyola University New Orleans (New Orleans, LA), in partnership with KICUnivAssist.

Registration is open only to National CCAA member institutions. Registration for the 2025 Latin America trip is available as part of your 2024-25 National CCAA membership form.
