We asked Alyssa:
What aspect of your college/university are you most excited about?
I am most excited about developing new friendships, being closer to the city, and the overall college experience.
What advice would you share with soon-to-be high school seniors as they begin their senior year?
As cliche as it sounds, high school goes by fast, so enjoy your last year and don’t wish it away. It’ll be over before you know it, so take every opportunity to make new memories that you can take with you into your future.
We know the past few years of your high school career have been different than what you imagined they would be; what is one positive thing that came out of the experience?
I was able to develop better time management skills. Especially during the time when school was online, I had to join zoom calls, stay on task, meet deadlines, and not fall behind, even though it might have seemed very tempting to do.
What is one fun fact about you?
I enjoy running for fun.
