We asked Kenny:

Why did you choose to attend a Catholic college/university?
St. Norbert College was extremely helpful in making the transfer process as smooth as possible. They gave me the opportunity to transfer my credits so that I will be able to graduate on time. They also offer a vibrant campus with great facilities.

What aspect of your college/university are you most excited about?
I am looking forward to meeting new people and getting involved on campus. I am also excited to regularly take walks around the campus and spend time in the athletics facilities.

What one tip about the transfer process would you share with future transfer students?
Ask lots of questions; there are a great deal of variables to consider during the move in process, including classes, credits transfer, meal plan, living arrangements, required tests and agreements, and many others. As such, it is a great idea to set aside time to think of any potential questions, then ask your advisors for help.

What advice would you share with students who are considering transferring?
Maintain an optimistic outlook on transferring. It can be easy to fall into the trap of viewing transferring in a negative way, both because of the work involved and because of the struggle to accept change, which impacts us all in different ways. Remember that transferring gives you a fresh slate, and it creates new opportunities that might not have been possible at your previous school. Trust that through change, better things will come, and past experiences will help you along the journey.

What is one fun fact about you?
I have visited seven different countries in Europe.
