A 2023 National CCAA Transfer Scholarship recipient, Dana will attend Holy Family University. She shared that many factors went into her decision to enroll.

"I picked Holy Family University because it has an excellent program for my preferred career path and offers considerable financial help. It is a close-knit program in which each faculty member administration interacts with their students and collaborates for their future."

Dana previously attended Community College of Philadelphia and at Holy Family she will major in Nursing. When asked about her future plans, she shared "after finishing my bachelor's degree, I intend to continue my education and pursue an area of expertise in either cardiac perfusionist or Nurse Anesthesiologist." 

We asked Dana:

Why did you choose to attend a Catholic college/university?
Growing up in a Catholic family was an essential component in my selection; I cherish my religion, and one of the reasons I chose Holy Family University was because their faith, beliefs, and values aligned with mine.  

What aspect of your college/university are you most excited about?
I'm excited to learn more about the process, the concepts of what nurses execute, and how to develop and improve new abilities. 

What one tip about the transfer process would you share with future transfer students?
Examine all the possibilities.

What advice would you share with students who are considering transferring?
Never be afraid to explore your options and ask for help.
